Passengers traveling internationally are advised to review the following requirements before departure:
United Kingdom travel: From 25 February 2026, nationals of visa-exempt countries must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering the UK. Passengers unable to provide proof of a valid ETA may be denied boarding. See more detailed information here.
European Union Entry/Exit System (EES): The EU is introducing the new EES for non-EU nationals traveling to the Schengen Area for short stays. The system began a phased rollout on 12 October 2025 and is scheduled for full implementation by 10 April 2026. See detailed information here.
Athens Airport arrival recommendation: Due to enhanced border-control procedures, passengers traveling to non-Schengen destinations should arrive at Athens International Airport at least two hours before departure to allow sufficient time for check-in, security screening, and passport control.
